Post Code-01: Scientific Officer –D / Scientific Officer – C (Medical Practitioner)
a) For Scientific Officer- D
Essential:
MD (General Medicine) / MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) / MD (Paediatrics)
Or
MBBS with five years of clinical experience in hospital with more than 50 beds after obtaining
degree.
Age: Not more than 40 years
b) For Scientific Officer – C
Essential:
MBBS with PG Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Child Health
Or
MBBS with one year working experience in hospital of more than 50 beds.
Age: Not more than 35 years
Desirable: Experience in tertiary care hospital, govt / PSU hospital will be preferred.
Job profile:
General Medicine
1) Should be able to manage all medicine cases attending OPD and medical emergencies.
2) Must have good knowledge in managing patients in ICU.
3) Knowledge in Echocardiography and stress test will be preferred.
4) Should be able to manage cases independently in the emergency room as and when required.
5) Should be able to perform general duties as and when required.
Obstetrics & Gynaecology:
1) Should be able to manage Antenatal and postnatal cases.
2) Should be able to manage and conduct Normal and Assisted deliveries.
3) Should be able to conduct gynecological and obstetrical surgery if required.
4) Should be able to resuscitate newborns after deliveries.
5) Should be able to manage cases independently in the emergency room as and when required.
6) Should be able to perform general duties as and when required.
7) Knowledge in ultrasonology will be preferred.
Paediatrics:
1) Should able to manage all paediatric cases attending OPD and medical emergencies.
2) Must have good knowledge in neonatology e.g. newborn resuscitation, preterm baby management,
managing septicemia in newborn etc.
3) Must have good knowledge in incubator and nursery care.
4) Should be able to manage cases independently in the emergency room as and when required.
5) Should be able to perform general duties as and when required.
Post Code-02: Scientific Assistant –C (Nurse-A)
Essential: Intermediate or 10+2 and 3 years diploma in Nursing & Mid-wifery with registration as ‘A’ Grade Nurse / BSc (Nursing)
Desirable: B.Sc in Nursing Science with two year of hospital experience. Experience in ICU and OT will be preferred.
Age: Not more than 30 years
Job Profile: To provide nursing care to the outdoor and indoor patients. To provide full range of nursing services as per the requirement of the patients, to ensure all the instructions issued by treating
doctor are properly carried out, to perform rotating shift duties including Night Shift, to attend antenatal clinic, well Baby Clinics, immunisation clinic etc, to maintain all records and register
pertaining to the wards, to observe Universal aseptic precautions strictly and ensure compliance
of Bio Medical Waste Management guidelines, to ensure the cleanliness of the wards and linen
management, to maintain the medical equipment in hospital for smooth functioning, to attend to
any emergency situation and render immediate first-aid and also to perform any other duties and
responsibility entrusted by the administration.
Post Code-03: Scientific Assistant-B (Pharmacist)
Essential:
(i) HSC (10+2) with 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy granted by institution of the Central/State Govt.
(ii) Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act. 1948.
Desirable: B.Pharma with two years of hospital experience.
Age: Not more than 30 years.
Job profile: To dispense medicines prescribed by the Medical Officers, to maintain Pharmacy records, to indent medicines, summarisation, posting in the relevant stock registers, proper storage of the medicines needed for the use in the Pharmacy, to coordinate with drug Controller, to perform
rotating shift duties including night shifts, to accompany patients referred to higher centre, to maintain the medical equipment in hospital for smooth functioning, and also to perform any other
duties and responsibilities entrusted by the administration.
How to apply:
i) Only ON-LINE applications are received. The applicants should apply online through the website
http://www.niser.ac.in (Link to Apply ONLINE appears on 20-Sep-2016 till 15-Nov-2016 midnight).
ii) The candidates have to pay application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in the shape of Bank Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of ‘FINANCE OFFICER, NISER’ and payable at Bhubaneswar. Application fee is exempted for the women/SC/ST/PWD candidates.
iii) Before applying the candidate should ensure that he/she is fulfilling all the requisite qualification and experience.
iv) The candidate should have a valid email id for applying.
v) The candidate should keep the following items ready before going for apply.
a) Soft copy (JPG file) of passport size photograph of the candidate.
b) Scanned copy of signature of the candidate
c) Demand draft of requite value.
vi) After final submission of application the candidate should take printout of the online application form and send it to the following address on or before 21st November 2016 through Registered/Speed post only with the DD and self attested photocopies of certificates providing his/her age, qualification and experience. The envelope containing the application should be superscripted as “Application for the post of ________” and advertisement No. FA-Rct./NA/02-2016.
vii) The application form complete in all respect along with DD and self attested copies of relevant
certificates in support of educational qualifications, age, caste and experience etc. must reach in the
sealed envelope to the “Recruitment Cell” at the address given below. In any case NISER will not be
responsible for any postal delay.
